The inscription หลวงพ่อ identifies the honorific Luang Phor on the front of this Thai devotional figure. The Buddha sits cross-legged, the right hand lowered over the knee and the left turned upwards in the lap. A flame-shaped finial rises above the closely modelled curls.

Figure and pedestal

Smooth contours across the torso contrast with the densely patterned support. Incised robe lines cross the left shoulder and continue down the back, while the right shoulder remains uncovered. The pedestal combines stepped mouldings, floral relief and a central hanging ornamental panel. Elongated earlobes, arched brows and lowered eyes complete the figure.

Surface and underside

The lustrous golden-brown surface has darker recesses, scattered scratches, small pits and areas of green deposit. Pale residues remain on parts of the hair and pedestal. Brown granular material is visible within the metal rim underneath. Close-up and underside photographs form part of the condition record.
