A decorative bronze Buddha statue from Thailand, executed in Rattanakosin style and depicted in the classic bhumisparsha mudra.
| Period: | Late 20th century |
| Material: | Bronze with gold finish |
| Origin: | Thailand |
| Dimensions: | Height 16 cm × Width 9.2 cm |
| Weight: | 310 grams |
This Thai Buddha statue depicts the Buddha in the bhumisparsha mudra, the moment when the earth is invoked as a witness to enlightenment. The slender form, high pointed crown, graceful ornaments, and stepped base align well with the decorative Rattanakosin style from Thailand.
The statue has a warm gold-colored finish and a strong spiritual aura. Due to its compact size, it is very suitable for an altar, meditation spot, interior, or as a meaningful decorative object.
The condition is good, with light signs of use and minor irregularities consistent with the casting process and the finish.
Each object is examined before it is offered: material, casting or carving technique, surface, and signs of age are compared with documented references. You will receive a certificate of authenticity and an official invoice detailing the period, material, and available provenance.
Fully insured worldwide shipping in museum-quality packaging. Returns are sent to our Dutch address and you have a 14-day cooling-off period.
