Forensic Analysis & Evidence
- Engraved Symbolism: The reverse side of the robe features complex, hand-engraved cloud and flame motifs, characteristic of Ladakh iconography.
- Mineral Crystallization: White sand minerals and traces of ritual ash are visible in the deep grooves of the engravings and along the seams. This mineral composition is the result of a natural aging process spanning over 250 years.
- Fire gilding: Remnants of the original fire gilding are specifically present in the protected parts of the engravings. The raised areas show authentic mechanical wear.
- Construction: The statue was manufactured using segment casting, with clear oxidation visible around the historical seams.
- Ritual Content: The interior was originally ritually sealed and contains only historical sand minerals without modern materials.
