Impressive Antique Chinese Statue "Magu" with Refined Silver Inlay (43 cm)
Add a showpiece to your collection with this monumental, hand-carved statue of the immortal goddess Magu. With a height of no less than 43 cm and a weight of 2 kg, this is an object with an enormous presence, perfect for a prominent spot in your interior or display cabinet.
Exceptional Craftsmanship: Silver in Hardwood
What truly distinguishes this statue is the extremely detailed silver wire inlay (Shippo technique). The flowing cloud patterns and details in the robes are hand-inlaid in precious, heavy hardwood. In the 19th century, this level of craftsmanship was reserved only for wealthier collectors and the elite.
