Turquoise Patinated Bronze Buddha Head – Thai U Thong Style 26.5 cm
Price: €295
This refined bronze Buddha head is crafted in a classic Southeast Asian style with clear Thai U Thong influences. The serene face, almond-shaped eyes, long earlobes, and compact spiral curls of hair give the object a calm, meditative appearance. The striking turquoise-green verdigris patina makes this piece particularly decorative. The surface has a lively, weathered look with dark accents around the curls and deeper zones, giving the head great depth and character. This makes it a strong object for an interior, meditation corner, practice room, or stylish Asian art collection. The head is hollow-cast from real bronze using the traditional lost-wax casting technique. The open bottom and visible casting structure confirm the artisanal production method. This is a high-quality handmade vintage reproduction, not an ancient temple fragment. Symbolicism A Buddha head symbolizes wisdom, inner peace, mindfulness, and spiritual clarity. The urna on the forehead refers to insight and enlightenment, while the long earlobes remind us of letting go of material attachments.
